Just way way way too many "simple" people all over their gigantic country to ever actually expect an real change. Let's face it, the majority of people do not vote based on the policies of candidate x vs. candidate y. They vote for who they feel is more like them in terms of A) race B) religion C) anything else that offers a tangible interpersonal difference.
